Happy Halloween! Little guy, my DH and i went trick or treating. The neighborhood is almost all elderly couples with dogs. Little guy loved it! there were almost no other trick or treaters, but all the houses had candy (and one had little gifts) The house owners and little guy loved to talk, and little guy shot the breeze at every house- we spent an average of 10 minutes every time! It took a long time, but he had so much fun and he made a lot of new friends! and he got a LOT of candy!!!!

He really did have a wonderful time! There is something absolutely magical about going up to a strange door, knocking and someone is so glad to see you and they give you candy! In today's world that kind of magic rarely happens.
Usually the whole family goes trick or treating, but on daughter had a soccer game- (she wanted us to go but Halloween only comes once a year- and who schedules a soccer game on Halloween anyway??????) and the other daughter had surgery on her leg 2 weeks ago and couldn't go so she stayed home. so it was all about Little guy!
Oh-and we went to the game after to catch the last few minutes- Daughter scored one goal and one assist- and they won! so a good night for her too.
