Primary Rules:
1. No Scamming - At WT, we want to protect our members from scams in Webkinz.
If anyone asks for your password, do not provide it to them and please let us know.

Anyone who scams or attempts to scam will be banned indefinitely from the board.

2. No Trading outside The Official Trading Area.
We have a safe and monitored Trading Area that has sections for Auctions, Haves, Wants, and Quick Trades.
When trading on WT, you must trade in this section and not discuss trades elsewhere unless you've reached Golden Gifter status.

3. Post in the correct section - If you go to the forum, you can see there are numerous sections, Webkinz and off-topic.
Please make your posts in the appropriate section. The main reason for having this rule is to keep WebkinzTown organized.

4. Permission To Join - Due to COPPA Law, you must have parental permission to join WebkinzTown.ca
If you are older than 13, you may join WebkinzTown without parental consent.

5. Personal Information - Due to COPPA Law, if you are under 13, you may not give any person information away on the board, whether that is public or private.
WT Rules are that no one under 18 may reveal this information (we want to ensure everyone is safe).

6. No Bad Words/Images - This is a website for kids and adults. All images and words used must be appropriate for all ages.
Please do not share inappropriate links. If you're not sure, please ask an Admin or Mod to confirm.
We ask you to advise a staff member if you see anything inappropriate. We do our best to keep this a clean and safe environment.

1. No Spamming - We take spamming very seriously and will remove users that are using our website to advertise, share inappropriate links or pictures,
or simply cause trouble through posting repetitive, random messages all about the board.

2. Color of Text - We reserve the turquoise, blue and red color text for the WT Trade Helpers, Global Moderators & Administrators.
Members are free to use any other color of text at any other time.

3. YouTube Links - Before posting a YouTube link, please get it approved by Admin.
If it is approved, you may post it. If not, you are not allowed to post the video.
We have a YouTube Videos section for the videos to be posted in once approved.

4. Links - Posting of links to other Webkinz-related websites or links needs Admin approval, such as the YouTube video links.
Additional Information:
1. Trading - In order to get access to the WT Offical Trading Area, you must have 50 "non fluff" posts on the forum.
They must be relevant to the forum and show that you are actively taking part in becoming a member of WT.
At that time, you may contact an Admin/Mod to have your posts reviewed and then be granted access to the Auctions, General Trading, Quick Trades
and Wants trading sections. After you have a successful trade with another trader, please use our trading point system to give the other user feedback.
To become a Trusted Trader, you must have feedback from 15 unique trades. That means you must trade or auction 15 different times.
When trading with large value items, you can use our Safe Trade Service if you prefer.
You would send your items to our Safe Trade accounts, and a staff member will then, having both trader's items secure on the account at the same time,
send the items to each user. If the other person does not send to the safe trade account, the staff member will return your items.
If ever you don't receive what was agreed upon, contact a Trade Helper, Global Moderator or Administrator as soon as possible.

2. Posting - If you would like to create a thread, go to the section you would like to post in. Next, find the button that says "Create Thread".
Then, where it has the blank for the title, type in your thread title and in the message box type in the thread contents.
Then click "Submit Thread". You have successfully created a thread!
If you want to reply to a thread, go to to thread that you want to reply to. Then, click "Post Reply".
Type in your reply in the message box and click "Submit Reply". You have replied!

3. Polls - WT has a section dedicated to polls! You may only post polls in that section. In order to post a poll, create a thread in the polls section.
Then where you see the Submit Thread button find a check box that says to add a poll. Check the box. Then click submit thread.

4. Reporting Posts - This is a great help to the staff of WebkinzTown! If you see a post that is rude or breaks a rule, please report it.
A Mod or Admin will look at the post and decide if it is acceptable or needs to be removed/edited.
Please only report rule breaking or rudeness and not to get a staff member's attention.

5. Language - Only English is to be used on the board. We can't monitor a language we don't speak or understand.
Please note that warnings, infractions, or temporary bans from the site might be given upon serious breaching of the rules hereby stated.
Minor issues are usually dealt with through a warning, but continuous abuse to the rules will be taken seriously and can result in a permanent ban from the site.

The staff at WebkinzTown.ca reserves the right to revise, add or remove any of the aforementioned rules at any given time.
