I entered a Get Eleven Solitaire game at the tournament arena. It's one of my favorite games and I'm good enough to have a place on the overall high score list! I got my highest score ever and should have earned about 180 kinzcash, but instead I got a message saying my score was "greater than the maximum reasonable score" and my score was canceled, and I got no kinzcash. At least I earned a pet medallion. Has anyone else gotten a message like this before? I guess Get Eleven has a cut-off score of 40,000, but are maximum scores (unfairly) limited to Get Eleven? This is very common and happens for several games. Basically, what you did is you "score-maxed," which is when you achieve a score higher than the maximum designated score for that game. There's a limit to how much the game will award you. However, for games like solitaire or side scrollers like polar plunge and leapin' llama, due to the nature of the game, it won't just stop you once you've achieved the maximum score. It'll let you go beyond that, and once you finish, it will not award you coins or a top score.
This is in place so people do not use bots to achieve high scores. You'll notice the high scores list in the newspaper has a lot of people getting really close to or right at a score threshold, and that's because of the maximum score limit. Some games have a decent limit, but some are oddly low. Zingoz Pie Throw is one I see people surpassing all the time. Polar Plunge is 20k points, anything past 20k will not receive a high score or kinzcash. Leapin' Llama is 300k. Both of the latter two I hit relatively easily, and it does stink to not get the kinzcash you earned.
Note also that if you play the game of the day, you might not earn your kinzcash even if you do not score-max. There's a kinzcash threshold as well, so bots are not earning tons and tons of kc.
I haven't seen this for Get Eleven Solitaire yet, but I know someone who records maximum scores and this specific pop-up message. Great score BTW, best I've ever gotten was 30k. I'd love to get some tips from you!

Wow! Congrats on that score! That's amazing!! I'm so sorry that you 'outscored' the max and didn't get your KC tho! That really stinks! As Siobhanin mentioned, it isn't unusual for this to happen with some games. I really think it would be more fair if they just ended the game as it maxed out and gave you the points for the max score allowed.

Oh, ElMapache I forgot to mention, I don't think high scores achieved at the Tournament Arena will be added to the high scores list in the newspaper. But, it will show up in the Arcade as your personal highest score (unless you score-maxed). I got 30k in Get Eleven Solitaire once and was not visible in the high score of the day list in the newspaper. However I can always see it in the Arcade. Really odd, but just a heads up if you're playing in the Tournament Arena often.
