what do you guys think of these events?

there seemed to be a lot of issues with the toy ball one last december and it was hard to collect any. i saw a lot of people complain about not seeing any toy balls or inconsistent numbers of them. it also took a long time to collect 50 a day, even when it was working right. and a lot of people don't seem to like the gacha style of the prizes, where you spend 20 toy balls and the prize you get is random.

it looks like the yarn falls 5 at a time every 5 minutes. that's how it's been working for me. i think the biggest issues are that the bounce physics of the balls allows them to go out of bounds or inside buildings WAY too often, so i hope they fix that overtime. it also takes, at the LEAST, 50 minutes to get all 50 balls: 50 minutes you have to sit in kinzville, doing nothing else, and collecting the balls as soon as they drop. i think that's a little unreasonable, but at least these events see kinzville populated more than it usually is. of course, you might think, "you don't HAVE to get all 50 in a day", but given the gacha style prizes, you will definitely want as many chances as possible to make sure you get each item. so yeah i think it's... a little difficult...
it also looks like the new over the shoulder camera can help get some balls that would usually be lost/hidden, although it doesn't resolve the issue completely of course...

spent 300 balls today and got all the sweaters but one... i'll be keeping at it for a bit longer then!
