How To Multi-Quote
Newfie asked me to post this guide, so here it is!
Did you know that on WT you can multi-quote?
It is super easy, and I will show you how.
If you're unsure what a multi-quote is...
It is what it sounds like! It is quoting multiple people at once in one post.
The first thing you need to do before multi-quoting is of course find the posts you want to quote.
For this, I used 3 of my posts. You can quote as many as you'd like, however.
So, I located the first post I want to quote here:
In the upper right corner you'll see post options.
For this one, we're using the gear box which is the option to the far right that looks like a gear.
Here it is circled in red:
You'll then get a drop down menu.
To multi-quote, you select the first option on the menu called "Select Post."
You can see I have it highlighted in blue here.
Once you've selected it, the gear box will change to a lighter color indicating it is selected.
Now you find the other posts you want to quote and repeat the above steps.
Make sure to select each one you want quoted.
Here are the other two I have selected for my multi-quote.
You can tell they're selected because the gear box is lighter in color.
Once you have selected all the posts you want to quote it is time to quote them!
On the last post you selected hit the quote button.
The post editor will now open up asking you to create your post!
All of the posts you selected should be in there.
Pretty cool, right?
You can then respond to them however you want.
If you want to respond to each, you can write in between the quotes.
If you're using this for trading purposes, you can write at the end.
Whichever you do is up to you.
Lastly, press create post!
And you are done and have created a multi-quote.
Please let me know if you have any questions!
