My parents surprised me with a 36-pack box of Webkinz trading cards today! My dad described my reaction to it as “a big ol’ teapot”, which I can only assume means that my voice went very, VERY high in pitch. Which, yeah that’s fair. It tends to do that when I get super excited.
You can even slightly see my cat in the background of this photo!
I also got two free pets with my cards alongside the feature codes! I got a polar bear, and a collie! I named them Frosty and Max respectively. That means I now have 5 total Webkinz pets!
As cool as it would’ve been to have gotten one, I didn’t manage to get my hands on a Dr. Quack card. I’m not even sure if he’s in this series, but all I know is that I was hoping to get him and just simply didn’t. That’s okay, though! I have way more cards than I’ll ever need now. Though, I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t considering getting the Dr. Quack card individually, just to have it in my collection.
I’m hoping to catch my dad at a time where he’s not busy so we can play the card game together! It seems like it would be a lot of fun! Ironically, I’m taking this card game more seriously than the Pokémon TCG. I have a bunch of Pokémon cards, but I never bothered to even learn the rules of the game, even though I specifically got a whole box set that was supposed to be used to teach you the game.
Just thought I might share since this was something I got very excited about!
