whew... how are we doing with the 150 kinzcash in polar plunge? at least it's total kinzcash, which is always do-able with enough time, but im pretty bad at polar plunge so i literally only make like 8 or so kc each play. im gonna try to make it though! im on level... 25 or 26 of the pass right now. if i make it to 30 then i plan to buy the premium pass, because i do like that rainbow snowcone item... I'm all done, but I'm terrible at Polar Plunge too! Like you, I'm lucky to get 8 kc in a game. I do much better in Classic, not sure why I find Next more difficult. Good luck! |

bit of a vent now that one day in the season is left...
i've done every possible task and am still 2 levels short of 30.
when i say possible, i mean that i haven't used any sparks yet. so any goals for baby/kid webkinz i cannot complete; surely that's the case for a good number of other players, right? this meant missing out on 10 points a day because of the milk goal, but i still was doing the other four daily goals every day. i completed every single week goal except for the baby/kid ones (i missed out on a total of 60pts from these).
this is just so... disheartening? the only way to complete it now would be to pay $10 for diamonds so i can use a spark and complete some quests (not even sure if that's possible with a day left, too, actually) OR spend $9 on the "premium" pass that gives you extra points. an extra $2 than the regular $7 pass that just unlocks the exclusive items. so, i logged in daily for 35 days and completed some super tedious/annoying tasks just to not make it by about 200 points.
definitely looks like i won't be trying to complete other passes because i'm definitely not going to be cornered into handing over money like that... it seems they do design the seasons in such a way that paying is a must, whether that means you buy sparks or the passes. usually these pass type systems are liberal in other games and let free users easily complete the free tier, and allow those who simply want the premium items to pay extra. i have no idea why they wouldn't allow free users to enjoy the free side of the pass like this. like, as far as i'm concerned, it's literally impossible for a free user to reach 30 because having used sparks is required. yeah, i dunno, just a big disappointment.

Some of the baby goals, like feeding the bottle, you can achieve by visiting babies in other people's homes. That's how I get there most of the time. The daycare one I think you'd have to do with your own kid. i wanted to say thank you for that tip, i didn't know it was possible through friends. i have plenty of users added so that's an option for me to try. it does make me a little sad because i was completely intent on buying the winter wishes premium for the rainbowy snowcone machine grand prize so long as i finished the pass, which is why it felt so discouraging to see i wasn't able to make it without an extra $2. i still agree with my decision not to go for the $9 pass and i still think the seasons are unnecessarily hard on free players for no reason, but this tip definitely changes things because being able to complete the daily baby-related goal is a huge boost of course. so i am feeling a bit more open to continuing seasons since i think i'll complete them if i can do the baby goal each day too. though especially because the goals say "your baby" & etc, i only imagine other free players in the same boat as me because i never thought a friends baby could satisfy the goal! do they even advertise it anywhere that you can interact with a friend's baby? ah well. i haven't looked into the new seasons prizes yet but maybe ill give it another go and try to complete everything again if i see something nice... |
