Hi all! Last week, I thought of checking eBay for rare, retired Webkinz for fun. Not something I do on a regular basis...just wanted to do it for nostalgia haha Little did I know that I would find a new furry friend-a Webkinz full-size Unicorn with unused code in beautiful, excellent condition! When I was a kid, this was a pet I really, really wanted, but was unable to get. I remember it being worth a lot (e.g. $40+) after its retirement (still true...). I found it for just $15 with $4.50 shipping. I was unsure what the current value of this pet is, so I talked to Newfie (thank you again!!!!) and she told me that it is rare to find a full-size Unicorn for a price as low as that in unused, spectacular condition. I decided to treat myself and buy it.  It came today and I feel so blessed and grateful that this Unicorn made its way into my heart and home. :dh: :c9: :happyv: Here are some pics! The pics don't do it much justice though...it's even more gorgeous in-person with its sparkles and all...but I tried my best.   It was packaged extremely well and even came with the following sweet note:  |

Congratulations on your find. It's so exciting to find something you've been looking for for so long, especially when it's at a reasonable price! The unicorn was always one of my favorites when I kept plushies. Not sure I ever had a full-sized one, though; I think I only had the LilKinz ones. Enjoy!

Congratulations on your find. It's so exciting to find something you've been looking for for so long, especially when it's at a reasonable price! The unicorn was always one of my favorites when I kept plushies. Not sure I ever had a full-sized one, though; I think I only had the LilKinz ones. Enjoy! Thanks! Absolutely. My unicorn is sitting next to me as I write. It will always serve as a reminder to never give up my dreams-even if fulfilling my dreams takes years. |

so cute, congrats! I gave up on buying plush on ebay when I got one that the code was used and put back in the plastic.  I do not think we ever had the big one in plush either. But who knows between the 3 of us in the early days, I have tubs full of plush

But who knows between the 3 of us in the early days, I have tubs full of plush Thanks! You know what....I'm so glad you brought that situation up. I decided to test the code and it came up as invalid... Tried it at least five times and on two different accounts. Did some googling around, and it seems like other people had an issue like that too (even if bought from a store) and think code generators (besides repackaging) could be to blame. It's so strange though because the white plastic tag thingies were in the pet. I contacted the seller (who has a near 100% reputation, has been selling on EBay for nearly 20 years, and is known as one of the most reputable sellers on there) and hope that I can get this settled....
UPDATE: good news......I decided to try one more alphabet at the end that I didn't try yet. And it actually worked to my surprise! So now I don't have to return! YAY.  Don't think I will purchase any more plush pets in the future though. That was too scary...I'll stick to the Estore from now on. |

I'm so sorry that the code is invalid, though!  I do hope you get some kind of resolution. In looking at the pics, it very much looks like an unopened code. Its in the exact place it should be with the blue ribbon tying it and the tag looks so close to the leg. |

I'm so sorry that the code is invalid, though!  I do hope you get some kind of resolution. In looking at the pics, it very much looks like an unopened code. Its in the exact place it should be with the blue ribbon tying it and the tag looks so close to the leg. Thanks! I had to take that tag off a few years ago because it was ruining the fur (was able to clean it and make it like new, thankfully). The dog's code was ok-just wrote it down somewhere as a backup and threw out the envelope. Well, here it is! Again, not adopted, only checked. Leaving it unadopted for now unless I ever decide to adopt it...  |

Thank you for your thoughtfulness though, that's so kind of you.
